Mel House is a Bronx-based multi-hyphenate artist: a writer/creator, producer, actor, educator and voice coach.

Recently Mel guest starred on "FBI: Most Wanted" as Leah Wilson, played Heidi in "What the Constitution Means to Me" at Syracuse Stage and toured internationally in Rome, Cagliari, Belgrade, and Dublin with "The Baby Monitor."

Mel is the writer/creator of, and plays the mom in, HOT ANGRY MOM--a two-time Telly Award-winning comedy series about a people-pleasing mom who discovers that anger is her superpower. In 2023-24, HOT ANGRY MOM was an Official Selection at twenty-six film festivals worldwide, including the Oscar-qualifying Hollyshorts, Cleveland International and Dances with Films, where it was nominated for fifty and won twenty-four awards, including Best TV pilot, Director, Actress, Ensemble and an award for Representation of Women in Film.
