Sheldon Shaw is a New York City-based playwright, screenwriter, and actor. He holds an MA in theater from Villanova University, where he performed in productions such as Sunday in the Park with George, Chrysalis, Curtains, House of Desires, and And White (written and directed by James Ijames). His play "CNTL+ALT(RIGHT)DEL" had a staged reading at JAGfest and gained recognition in several competitions. "Jailbird" was recently featured in the Chain Theater One Act Festival, and "Billy. Shelly. Ally." had a reading at the Kennedy Center. Shaw's screenplay "Glen" won the Black Screenplay Matter competition, while "Null and Void" won the Chicago Script Competition; both received additional contest recognition. He earned his BA from Temple University and has furthered his studies in writing and acting at institutions including the Kennedy Center, Labyrinth Theater Company, and William Esper Studios.
