Maria Isabella Rojas (she/her) is a Queens-based producer, writer, and performer with a focus on new theatrical work.

She attended the University of San Francisco, where she received a B.A. in Performing Arts and Social Justice. She is also a graduate of the Atlantic Theatre Company’s Full-Time Acting Conservatory and has trained with Oscar and Tony award-winning actress, Mercedes Ruehl.

She is currently the Co-founder and Artistic Director of The Company We Keep Theatre Productions, where she has starred in and produced Nick Payne’s Off-Off Broadway Production of Constellations.

She has performed in and developed work at Atlantic Theater, New Dramatists, Latinx Playwright Circle, and Peculiar Works. Producing credits include Aztec Pirates and The Insignificance of Life on Mars at The Chain, as well as the HOLA-nominated production of Constellations, and workshops of new plays by Nandita Shenoy, Juan Ramirez Jr., David Davila, and others. She has served as Executive Producer for Lone Star Media and is Co-founder and CCO of Marlex Films.
