Gro Katrine Engelstoft is a Danish-born actress and screenwriter. A native of Copenhagen, Gro spent her grade school years in Greenland, and has lived in NY for longer than anywhere else in her life.

Early days saw work as a PA and Assistant Editor on utterly forgettable movies in the Danish film industry before entering Drama School. Her U.S. acting training includes studying under the legendary Uta Hagen and Wynn Handman.

U.S. credits include: Twelve Angry Women (Juror 8), The Lottery (Tessie), Much Ado About Nothing (Beatrice), Julius Caesar (Portia), Jules Verne Eats a Rhinoceros (Susan B. Anthony). Gro’s script for the feature film Plastic Indian, won 1st prize at the Tribeca Film Festival (Tribeca All Access program).
